ABOUT ANN BOWN...

Ann Bown was appointed for a 3 year term of office by the Minister of Social Development to the Arbitration Panel for Non-Profit Organisations. She is often contacted by the media for clarity and or opinions on NPO trends as well as a feature and guest writer for NGO portals in Africa. She is also an Assessor for the FET Certificate in Fundraising.

RECENT WORK

Charisma’s most recent consulting and management work includes designing a fundraising strategy for five countries in southern Africa that is part of an international NGO; training for PhD students at the HSRC in Grant Procurement; Political Fundraising training on behalf of a German Foundation; Strategic alignment of grant allocation for a large Trust; production of three Annual Reports for clients; editing a handbook on Successful Political Communications in Africa; facilitation at CSI conferences and ongoing in-house and public training courses such as The GIBS Colloquium for Social Entrepreneurs and the Southern Africa Institute of Fundraising.
